A Short history about Dann
Dann grew up in west Michigan. His father was a successful businessman, a brilliant engineer, and everyone’s favorite Sunday School teacher, and his mother was the glue that kept the family together. His dad taught him how to hit a baseball, how to speak the truth with boldness, and how to stand up for what’s right. Mom taught him how to manage his money, how to forgive, and how to live a generous life.
After college Dann had a successful career in the automobile industry working in both the wholesale and retail ends of the business. Eventually he became a partner in an import automobile dealership that sold Mercedes, Volvos, and Volkswagens. During these years he met and married Carol and together they had three wonderful children.
Eventually Dann and Carol sold their share in the car business and Dann returned to school receiving his Masters of Divinity Degree and eventually his Doctorate in Narrative Preaching.
Dann served Woodhaven Reformed Church for twelve years after graduation from seminary and then took a call to Community Reformed Church where he served for seventeen years. By God’s
grace both churches grew and prospered under Dann’s leadership and he’s grateful for the love and support he and his family received during their years service.
Currently Dann is concentrating on writing, teaching, and coaching the next generation of leaders.
